The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.
Our mission is to create a nurturing environment that will provide academic, professional and emotional support to female students in the engineering fields. 
Our passion is to encourage and foster interest in engineering from an early age. FIU SWE is a non-profit educational service organization dedicated to exposing children and young females to engineering disciplines by means of outreach.
Our name may say Society of Women Engineers, but this is an equal opportunity organization. We welcome all genders, ages and majors!
